While Puffing Herbal Legal Buds In The City Park I Wondered If I Would Be Busted
I remember my first experience with legal buds. A friend of mine broke out a can of legal bud when we were walking through a park. I couldnâ??t believe it. Right there in broad daylight, he rolled up a fatty of the greenest herb Iâ??d ever seen, and then sparked it up like we were in a coffee house in Amsterdam. I nearly floated out of my skin. There werenâ??t too many people out, but this was a place often frequented by cops, and I was understandably nervous. My friend just kept puffing calmly away, just as if heâ??d lit up a Camel and was having an ordinary smoke. â??Are you crazy?â? I said. â??Arenâ??t you going to get us busted?â? My friend smiled and showed me the can of legal buds. You could see the bud through the transparent lid provided in the package, and when opened it shined like an emerald, the bud puffy and green, almost bubbly. It had a brand name, but marijuana wasnâ??t it. The smell was familiar yet exotic. You could tell this was no ordinary cigarette. He offered me a hit, even passing it to the left as if we were at a concert, never looking my way or altering his gaze into space. It tasted wild, packed a punch, and I kept licking my lips as I passed it back to him. Images of dorm days and Allman Brothers concerts floated through my mind, and I felt relaxed and calm, supremely mellow in the bright sunshine of the afternoon. My friend explained that legal bud is the latest trend in legal herbs and these rare plants have been uniquely chosen for their particular qualities. Although some claim it tastes remarkably similar, legal herb is not marijuana, does not contain any THC and is not marketed as a drug. Instead itâ??s an exotic smoking alternative, the perfect way to mellow out without risking losing your job or going to jail or getting looked at sideways on your lunch break for firing up a stinky tobacco cigarette. He was quick to warn me that all legal bud is not the same. Some less reputable companies sell the brittle shake of their plants, weirdly dyed with food coloring. Often, itâ??s pasty and crumbly like oregano. This ditch weed gives the legal herb industry a bad name and itâ??s hard to tell the good companies from the bad companies. Legal bud should live up to its name and be bouncy, bright green buds, perfect for packing in a pipe or rolling up a nice fattie. It should be so fluffy it actually bounces as you pack it in the pipe, like the bud of a flower that smells like an exotic dream.
I learned you can get it online or in many tobacco stores or an exotic smoke shop. Itâ??s good to know beforehand the quality you are buying. The best legal smoke is high-grade, premium buds, the kind you wouldnâ??t be embarrassed showing to a friend.
Should Marijuana be Legal in California?
There is a new proposal by Tom Ammiano in the California state government to completely legalize pot to those over 21. It could bring in lots of money in taxes and save lots in the legal system. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said it may be time consider some form of legalization. What do you think? Comments? Response videos?
